Accompli ("we", "us", "the app") helps you build habits by making and tracking commitments. This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have.
The content you create in the app is stored on your device. It is not sent to our servers or to any analytics service:
We don't require an account. We don't ask for your name, email address, phone number or location.
To understand how the app is used, fix problems and manage subscriptions, the app collects the following through third-party services.
| Data | Details | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| User ID | A randomly generated app user ID shared between our analytics and purchase services. It is not your name or Apple ID. | Analytics, app functionality |
| Device ID | An anonymous device identifier assigned by our analytics provider. It is not used for advertising. | Analytics |
| Purchase History | Subscription and purchase status and history, processed through Apple's App Store. | Unlocking paid features, restoring purchases, analytics |
| Crash Data | Crash reports and error details. | App functionality, analytics |
| Performance Data | App performance and responsiveness information. | Analytics |
| Other Diagnostic Data | Logs, device model, OS version and app version. | Analytics |
| Product Interaction | Events such as app opens, screens viewed, taps, onboarding progress, habits created or archived, check-ins, notes saved or deleted (we record that it happened, not what you wrote), notification interactions, paywall interactions and sharing actions. | Analytics |
| Other Usage Data | Attributes such as app version, subscription status, number of habits, and your answer if you tell us during onboarding how you heard about Accompli. We record the length of a habit name, never the name itself. In released versions, we also use anonymized session recordings of on-screen interaction to find usability problems. Text input fields and images are masked. | Analytics |
The data above is linked to your app user ID. Our service providers may also infer your approximate location from your IP address when data is sent.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
We share the data described above with the following providers, who process it on our behalf:
We may also disclose information if required by law.
If you allow notifications, the app schedules reminders locally on your device. You can change this at any time in the app's notification settings or in iOS Settings.
On-device data stays until you delete it or uninstall the app. Analytics and purchase records are kept only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law.
Accompli is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
Data sent from the app to our service providers is transmitted over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest revision. Material changes will be reflected in the app or on this page.
